The Hario Switch is a V60-02 glass cone with a stainless ball valve at the base: close it and you have full immersion, open it and you have a regular V60. That one switch makes it the most flexible brewer in the pour over aisle.
View iced recipesClosed-valve steeping extracts evenly regardless of pour skill, while opening the valve drains the bed like a V60 — so recipes can combine the sweetness and body of immersion with the clarity of percolation. Tetsu Kasuya's hybrid method is the canonical example. The Switch is also arguably the best dripper for flash-brew iced coffee, since a concentrated closed-valve steep releases straight onto ice with zero drama.
